Let's talk
about your day
Tell me a little about what you're planning. I read every message myself and usually reply within an hour or two.
Good to know
Questions I get asked
How far in advance should I book?
For a wedding, as early as you have the date — Saturdays through summer and autumn are the ones that go first. Portraits, family sessions, baby showers and housewarmings are usually much easier to fit in, often within a couple of weeks.
Do you travel?
Yes. Michigan is home base and anywhere within a couple of hours' drive is simply part of the booking. Further out I'll add travel to the quote and tell you exactly what it comes to before you commit to anything.
How many photos do I get, and when?
It depends how long we're shooting. A portrait or family session is usually 40 to 80 edited photographs; a ceremony or party, a couple of hundred; a full wedding day, several hundred. You'll get a handful of previews within a few days, and the finished gallery — hand-edited, yours to download, share and print from — in two to three weeks.
We're awkward in front of a camera. Help?
Almost everybody says this, and almost nobody ends up looking awkward. I don't do stiff posing — I give you something to do, then get out of the way and photograph what actually happens.
Do you shoot half saree, baby shower and housewarming ceremonies?
Regularly — they're some of my favourite days to photograph, and there are several in the portfolio. I know how these run, so you won't be spending the day explaining what happens next to your photographer.
What does it cost?
There's no fixed menu — what you pay depends on how many hours you need covering and what you want at the end of it. Send me the date and the rough shape of the day and I'll come back the same day with options and a number.
